About Bonnie Gayle

Bonnie Gayle Sparks, a born-and-raised Texan, began her acting career in Houston in 2013 and has since built a body of work spanning studio television, independent film, and national commercial campaigns.

Her best-known television credit is the recurring role of Jo Ann Garlington in HBO's Love & Death where she appeared opposite Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, and Krysten Ritter. Her television work also includes a co-star role in the Season 12 premiere of Chicago Med and a guest star role on Amazon Prime's Leverage: Redemption.

Upcoming film credits include Brent Pella's comedy feature Peaking (2027), where she appears opposite Lil Rel Howery, Tom Denucci's drama thriller Renew (2027) starring Theo Rossi and Ron Perlman, and Leo Aguirre's coming-of-age drama Last Heat (2027).

Often compared to Daisy Edgar-Jones, Shailene Woodley, and Grace Van Patten, Bonnie Gayle brings an emotionally grounded presence to both raw dramas and offbeat comedies.

Her commercial work includes campaigns for Ford, Domino's, Whataburger, and Raising Cane's, and more.

She is the co-founder of Sparks Productions LLC with her husband and fellow actor, Vance Sparks, where they develop and produce original work, including the award-winning micro-short Bad Girl (2024).

When she's not filming, Bonnie Gayle and Vance travel the country in their luxury RV, editing actor demo reels (see the Editing Services tab) and leading ongoing weekly acting classes at The Artists Playground in Dallas, Texas (see the Acting Workshops tab).
