About Bonnie-Gayle
Bonnie Gayle Sparks, a born and raised Texan, began her acting career in Houston in 2013. Now she works in markets across the country in projects ranging from big-budget series, to small budget indies, to regional commercial campaigns.
Most notably, she played recurring character Jo Ann Garlington alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, and Krysten Ritter in the true crime limited series, Love & Death on Max.
She gained local attention for playing Becky in the Texas-made indie comedy, Camino (2016), for which she earned a Best Breakout Performance Award at The Victoria Texas Independent Film Festival. Other notable credits include a guest star role on Amazon Freevee's Leverage: Redemption, a lead in indie comedy Monday (2018), the making of which was documented in Robert Rodriguez's reality series Rebel Without A Crew, and the heart-wrenching short film Grace (2019), the story of a young girl who falls victim to the sex-trafficking epidemic. This award winning drama was inspired by true stories of real sex-trafficking survivors, and has been viewed 3.5 million times on YouTube alone. Click here to watch.
Often compared to Daisy-Edgar Jones, Shailene Woodley, and a young Amy Adams, Bonnie fits seamlessly into edgy raw dramas as well as grounded dark comedies.
Her commercial campaigns include Choctaw Casino with Troy Aikman, Jamba Juice, Dominos Pizza with Lacey Evans, Cooks Children's Hospital, and more.
She goes by both Bonnie and Bonnie Gayle ever since she added Sparks to her name by marrying her best friend and fellow actor, Vance Sparks. Together they recently founded Sparks Productions LLC and released their first micro-short, Bad Girl, in which Bonnie Gayle plays the title role. They are both proud members of the SAG-AFTRA Dallas-Fort Worth Local Board.
As a family they love to travel in their full-time-living luxury RV with their fur baby, Arthur Fonzarelli Sparks (Fonzie).
